What Shipping Methods Are Available?

All shipments within Australia are sent on a next day service and if you leave a mobile number when placing your order you will receive a text and email letting you knowyour items have been dispatched as well as tracking details. Depending on your location within Australia allow up to 2-9 days for your order to be delivered. We stock 95% of the products advertised on our website, which means that we can dispatch the goods as soon as the payment is received. However if the item is not in stock, we will contact you within 24 hours to inform you of any possible delays. Customers are more than welcome to contact us to confirm stock availability prior to placing an order as well.

When will I receive my order?

We use a range of courier companies and Australia Post to deliver the product to your door as quickly and safely as possible.

Any chance I can get my order sooner?

If your order is urgent and require express shipping or need something last minute please contact us prior to placing your order.Charges apply and contact must be made prior to placing your order to confirm so just give us a call on 1800 069 007

Do you offer Same Day Delivery / Local Pickup?

If your order is extremely urgent and you are within 50kms of Melbourne CBD, on most occasions we are able to assist with getting your order dispatched and to you asap.. Charges apply and contact must be made prior to placing your order to confirm so just give us a call on 03 9416 8755. Local Pickup / Contactless Click and Collect avaiable from our Preston location.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Here at SpecialFX Australia, we accept a wide variety of payment methods including Paypal,. Stripe, Bank Transfer. We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express. That means that you can use any of these credit cards to make purchases on our site, without having to worry about extra fees. We utilise Stripe which supports a wide range of payment methods to help us accept payments around the world. We will pack up your order for shipment as soon as the payment is authorised. Usually the verification process is finished within just a few minutes, though in some cases it can take up to one day. There are no transaction fees for credit card payments.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Our store doesn't have every single locations around the world listed as shipping options so please get in touch if you would like a quote for your international order.

Can Electric / Handheld Cannons be filled with any choice of colour, shape or material?

Yes. All cannons can be custom filled with either paper or metallic confetti / streamers up to 3 different colours of your choice. Generally recommend either 2 seperate colours (ie. Metallic Silver and Metallic Blue / Metallic Gold and Metallic Purple) or using a combination of materials and colours (ie. Metallic Silver, Metallic Blue and Blue Paper or Red Paper, Metallic Red and Black Paper) etc.

Delays

In rare instances, it may take our courier longer to deliver a package than initially estimated. Of course, the goal is always to deliver your order as quickly as possible. If you have not received your order within 5-7 days of it being shipped, please make sure you check your tracking number and any issues please contact us!

Not at home?

If your package is being and you are not home for the first delivery attempt, there are a number of procedures they may follow. If your package is being delivered by StarTrack and you are not home, they will leave a notice. If it is via AUSPOST then it will likely be taken to a local post office with notice provided.

How Australia Post / Star Track deliver parcels when we have authority to leave (ATL) in a safe place

Can SpecialFX Australia do me a good package deal?

We love a good deal and know our customers do as well! We offer a completely bespoke installation service with hoses / cables made to exact lengths and wired back to either one of our effect controllers, or to your DMX desk via specially designed DMX switch packs. We can also help you to expand your existing system, replace old or leaking hoses, or carry out safety and maintenance checks on-site at your venue well qualified to advise you on both suitability and safety as well as being able to offer you the best possible value for money.
